It seems these severe performance issues started happening ever since Steam Workshop was added in. it's sluggish and unresponsive once you get used to 60fps.I spent weeks banging my head against a wall trying to find a fix for why Final fantasy XV was hitching and micro-freezing on my GTX 1080 even on lowest settings, and It actually turns out it's an issue with the Steam version, I downloaded both the Microsoft Store version and the Origin to test and they both run extremely smoothly in comparison: i do really get a sick feeling while looking at games that run at 30fps. if it cannot make proper use of my computer, it's the fault of the developers not being able to optimize it to make better use of higher end tier rigs. And i don't see a reason to disable one card in the Bios just for one badly optimized 2010 dx9 game.
since dx11 uses the horsepower in stronger cards better. If the game gets a DX11 64Bit client, i think the framerate will increase by atleast 20% or more.

a pity for such a powerful PC not being used to it's full potential. it's sadly another unoptimized bad game on the market. Like similar updates for other games, the gains will be mostly unnoticeable if you were already running fine at high settings.

Plus I doubt the DX11 update will do anything much for framerate. they will always cater to the lower denominator. Also really, go look up SweetFX instead of trying to ram through the options via the Control Panel. Myself, I have the fps counter go from the low 20s to the high 80s but fortunately I don't mind the variance.Ĭatnip, you can also just disable the slot in BIOS. İlk olarak Asphe tarafından gönderildi:Yeah, personally if I were using his sytem, I'd just lock the framerate to 30 fps. anything lower than that and i get all crazy :D i'll need to wait til this DX11 update comes out with 64Bit and better multicore/multi gpu usage. i'm one of these so called "elitists" who cannot accept anything lower than a constant 60FPS. my FPS were constant 60 (using a 27" 2560x1440p monitor wwith 60hz) with some annoying drops into the 40's. and it's not that healthy for the PCI-E slot to keep removing and plugging in a GPU all the time. <.< I'd need to remove the SLI bridge, unscrew 2 screws, take off the soft black thick strings/stripes the GPU is hanging on since it's a heavy GPU with sagging. and there is no chance i'm going to go through that hassle and remove one GPU just because of that. i forced both through the Nvidia Control panel since my PC is more than capable to handle this with no issues.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit The "use low polygon models on distant objects" and "disable rendering of objects when not visible." helped alot, i had them already turned on but still got Framedrops, turning off antialiasing and Vsync is a big no no, since i hate jaggies and tearing alot. Have you tried removing one of your graphics cards completely? Before I posted this I tested my FPS in the cities and the lowest it went is 32 in the market area with tons of people. I know you said it runs horribly regardless of your settings, but did you turn off vsync? How's your internet connection? Turn on "use low polygon models on distant objects" and "disable rendering of objects when not visible." Turn off anti-aliasing if need be. All I know about the DX11 update is that they are working to get it finished before years end. Just for comparison I'm able to run it on high settings with a solid 45-58 FPS average. İlk olarak Ballard tarafından gönderildi:Your computer is way more beastly than mine and I personally haven't noticed any framerate issues. i'll just have to wait until they release the DX11 64Bit client hopefully soon. my gametime ran out anyways since these performance issues annoyed me too much. There is absolute no reason for FPS drops on a machine like that.i went into some forums and looked for fixes but nothing works sadly.
Intel i7 4930k Asus GTX780Ti DCUII OC SLIĢx1TB WD Caviar Black &Caviar Green HDD's which bottlenecks my PC alot as it seems. it's horribly unoptimized since it runs only in DX9 with 32bit. no matter what settings i run it at, i always get heavy framedrops in cities, or small rooms such as in the limsa lominsa cooking area. Yep i have two Asus GTX780Ti DCUII OC's but SLI disabled for this game. Mines most likely bhind whatever your running but it handles the game on max settings with no issues.
I used to have those problems w other games then I went to a single card. If so then you could try disabling it and see if that helps. İlk olarak Jâbbérwôkkï tarafından gönderildi:Are you running a crossfire or sli setup? Sometimes games have issues w those.
